THE TGW 1911

Pistols will be available in four variants initially chambered in .45 ACP with 'Special Edition' models being introduced in the future. All pistols ship in a TGW Custom Embroidered zipper case.

TYLER GUN WORKS

Tyler Gun Works, the Texas based operation known for creating some of the world’s most exceptional custom firearms, has brought to market a line of pistols modeled after America’s Warhorse for over a century – the Model of 1911.

UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE

UNMATCHED CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each pistol comes standard with a lightweight aluminum trigger, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a Tyler Gun Works custom hammer that features the State of Texas prominently from either side.

The forged steel slides on Tyler Gun Works custom 1911 pistols feature front and rear cocking serrations for ease of operation under any circumstance. Utilizing 11 degree crowned match grade barrels and the reliable GI guide rod system, each slide flat is polished to accentuate the model name as well as an engraved American Flag on one side and “In God We Trust” on the reverse. Each model features a ‘Novak’ style rear sight and dovetailed front sight featuring a brass bead.

PRECISION FORGED

Each model begins construction with a forged steel frame, adorned with all the modern features a fine 1911 pistol must possess. Featuring a milled front strap and steel milled mainspring housing, all the internal parts are made from CNC machined steel and are hand fit for precise operation. Carry models feature a Bobtail style mainspring housing to ease with concealability and comfort while being carried. An extended beavertail grip safety combined with a recessed and chamfered slide stop offer additional custom touches.
